Effective Date: September 26, 2026
Introduction
Benhar Habits (“Benhar Habits,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Benhar Habits mobile application.
Benhar Habits is a habit-tracking and personal-development app that helps you track habits and challenges, keep a personal journal, reflect on daily prompts, build simple daily routines, and monitor your personal progress.
Benhar Habits does not require you to create an account or register in any way. The App is designed so that the information you enter, including your habits, challenges, journal entries, photos, and personal details, is stored locally on your own device. This Privacy Policy describes what information you can enter, where it is stored, and the limited circumstances in which information may leave your device.
1. Information You Provide
Benhar Habits does not require you to create an account or register to use the App.
You may optionally enter the following information to personalize and use certain features of the App:
- Display name

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The information you enter into Benhar Habits is designed to remain stored locally on your device.
This may include:
- My Daily Challenges
- Challenge completion history
- 7-Day, 21-Day, 30-Day, 60-Day, and 75-Day Challenge progress
- Streaks and achievement information
- Habit and challenge activity shown in the App’s calendar views
- Personal Journey entries and reflections
- Make Today Count entries
- What Would You Do? completion information
- Optional photos
- Profile information
- Reminder settings
- App preferences
- Locally generated achievement or progress images
- Journey PDF exports generated on your device
Benhar Habits does not operate its own server or backend service for storing, synchronizing, or maintaining this personal information.
We do not maintain a separate online copy of your personal habits, journal entries, challenge progress, profile information, or photos.
3. My Daily Challenges
My Daily Challenges allows you to create your own short, personally named daily challenges, such as “Wake Up Early,” “Drink More Water,” or “No Junk Food Today.”
For each My Daily Challenge, the App may store locally on your device:
- The challenge name you entered
- Whether the challenge has been completed
- Your completion information
- An optional reminder setting and reminder time
Each My Daily Challenge can have its own reminder setting. You may enable, disable, change, or delete a reminder for an individual challenge.
This information is stored locally and is not transmitted to a Benhar Habits server.
4. Challenges and Progress
Benhar Habits offers structured multi-day Challenges, including:
- 7-Day Challenges
- 21-Day Challenges
- 30-Day Challenges
- 60-Day Challenges
- 75-Day Challenges
For these Challenges, the App may store locally on your device information such as:
- Challenge type and duration
- Start date
- Daily completion status
- Streak and progress information
- Optional reflections or notes associated with challenge activity
- Optional photos associated with challenge days
- Reminder settings, including optional morning and/or evening reminders
Completed or cancelled Challenges may remain on your device as history so that you can review your progress, unless you delete the information yourself.
This information is stored locally and is not transmitted to a Benhar Habits server.
5. My Personal Journey
My Personal Journey is a private, free-form space for recording experiences, struggles, stories, reflections, lessons learned, and personal progress.
Depending on how you use the feature, entries may include:
- A category
- A description of what happened
- Information about how you felt
- Your own written story
- A “lesson learned” or similar reflection
- Optional photos
You may also generate a PDF summary of your Journey entries.
The Journey PDF is generated on your device and stored in the App’s local/private storage. It is not automatically uploaded to Benhar Habits or any Benhar Habits server.
If you choose to share a Journey PDF or other Journey content using your device’s sharing features, the content leaves your device only as a result of that action.
6. Make Today Count
Make Today Count is a daily reflection and personal-development feature.
Depending on how you use it, information stored locally may include:
- Your mood for the day
- A short note or reflection
- An answer to a daily reflection question
- A personal promise
- Whether you kept your personal promise
- A “win” or positive achievement for the day
- Gratitude items
- An end-of-day reflection
This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to a Benhar Habits server.
7. What Would You Do?
What Would You Do? presents real-life situations and allows you to reflect on how you would respond.
The App may locally record information such as:
- Categories you have completed
- The number of scenarios you have completed
- Related completion information
- An optional keepsake photo associated with a supported session
This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to a Benhar Habits server.
8. Habit Quiz
Habit Quiz is a short, self-contained quiz about habits and everyday decisions.
The quiz may display questions, answers, feedback, explanations, and a score during a quiz session.
Your quiz score and session results are shown to you at the end of the quiz but are not intended to be stored as a permanent profile of your habits or behavior.
The quiz does not create an online account or send your answers to a Benhar Habits server.
9. Notifications and Reminders
Benhar Habits can send local reminder notifications when you choose to enable them.
Notifications are generated and scheduled for delivery by your device’s operating system. Benhar Habits does not use a server-based push-notification system to deliver these reminders.
The reminder features currently available may include:
- Morning and/or evening reminders for active 7-Day, 21-Day, 30-Day, 60-Day, and 75-Day Challenges
- An optional daily reminder for each individual My Daily Challenge
- One-time milestone or achievement alerts when applicable
For My Daily Challenges, reminder settings are associated with the individual challenge you create, so different challenges can have different reminder times.
You can enable or disable individual reminders and you can decline notification permission entirely.
If you decline notification permission, you can continue using other features of the App.
You can also change notification permissions at any time through your device settings.
10. Photos and Media
Benhar Habits allows you to optionally use photos in certain features.
Supported photo uses may include:
- Profile photo
- Daily photos associated with an active Challenge
- Photos attached to My Personal Journey entries
- Optional keepsake photos associated with What Would You Do?
Photos are selected using your device’s photo gallery or system photo picker.
Benhar Habits does not use your device’s camera for these features.
When you select a photo, the App may copy that selected image into the App’s private storage on your device so that the feature can use it.
The App does not intentionally browse your entire photo library for unrelated purposes. The App only receives the photo that you choose through the applicable system photo-selection interface.
Where supported, you can replace or delete photos from within the relevant App feature. When you delete a photo from the App, the App’s stored copy is removed from the App’s local storage.
Because Benhar Habits does not operate its own server for this content, these photos are not automatically uploaded to or stored on a Benhar Habits server.
A photo may leave your device if you explicitly choose to share it using your device’s sharing features.
11. Achievement and Progress Images
Benhar Habits may generate achievement, milestone, or progress images on your device.
These images may be created using information already stored locally in the App, such as challenge or progress information.
Generated images are created on your device.
They are not automatically uploaded, posted, or shared.
If you choose to save a generated image to your device’s photo gallery, the App may request the necessary permission required by your device’s operating system.
If you choose to share a generated image, the sharing action is initiated by you through your device’s sharing features.
12. Sharing Achievement Images and Other Content
Benhar Habits may allow you to share certain content, such as achievement images or a Journey PDF, using your device’s native sharing tools.
When you choose to share content:
- You decide whether to share it.
- You select the destination or application.
- Sharing is initiated by you.
- Benhar Habits does not automatically post or share content on your behalf.
Once you share content with another application, website, or service, that third party’s own privacy policy and practices apply to how it handles the content.
13. Advertising
Benhar Habits is supported by advertising to help keep the App available to users.
Advertising is provided through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), including banner advertisements and occasional full-screen interstitial advertisements displayed at appropriate transition points within the App.
Google and its advertising technologies may collect and process certain technical information in accordance with Google’s own privacy practices. Depending on your device, region, advertising settings, consent choices, and advertising configuration, this may include:
- Device or advertising identifiers
- General device information
- IP address and network information
- IP-derived approximate location
- Advertising interaction information
- Information used for advertising delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention
Any approximate location that may be inferred by Google’s advertising technology is based on network or IP-related information. Benhar Habits does not request or use your device’s GPS or other location permission.
Benhar Habits does not intentionally send your habit names, challenge details, challenge progress, journal entries, profile information, personal reflections, or personal photos to the advertising SDK for advertising purposes.
Advertising services may independently process technical information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
14. Google AdMob and Third-Party Services
Benhar Habits uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display and measure advertisements.
Google Mobile Ads is a third-party service integrated into the App. Google may process certain technical and advertising-related information as part of providing its advertising services.
Google’s handling of information is governed by Google’s own privacy policy and applicable terms and policies.
Benhar Habits does not control how Google independently processes information collected by Google’s advertising technology.
Google’s privacy policy is available at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
15. Analytics
Benhar Habits does not currently operate a separate first-party analytics system for tracking your individual usage, habits, or behavior.
The App does not currently use services such as:
- Firebase Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Sentry
- Mixpanel
- PostHog
- Other separate third-party analytics or crash-reporting services
Advertising services such as Google Mobile Ads may collect technical information associated with advertising delivery and measurement as described in this Privacy Policy and Google’s own privacy documentation.
16. Tracking, ATT, and Consent
Benhar Habits does not use your personal habit information, journal entries, challenge progress, profile information, or personal reflections to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Benhar Habits does not intentionally combine the personal information you enter into the App with information obtained from other companies for the purpose of cross-app tracking.
Benhar Habits does not request permission to track you through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and does not use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking purposes.
Where required by law, such as for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Benhar Habits uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalised advertising is shown. You can accept, reject, or manage your advertising choices in that message. If you do not give consent, you may still see non-personalised ads.
Advertising through Google Mobile Ads is subject to Google’s advertising technologies, applicable regional requirements, device settings, advertising settings, and any consent choices you make.
If Benhar Habits changes its advertising, tracking, or consent implementation in a future version of the App, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe those changes.
17. Permissions
Benhar Habits requests permissions only when they are needed for specific App features.
Notifications
Notification permission may be requested when you choose to use reminder features. You can decline notification permission and continue using other parts of the App.
Photos
When you choose to add a profile photo, Challenge photo, Journey photo, or What Would You Do? photo, the App uses the device’s system photo-selection interface.
On supported versions of Android and iOS, the system photo picker may allow you to select an individual photo without giving the App broad access to your entire photo library.
When you choose to save a generated achievement image to your device’s photo gallery, the App may request the operating-system permission required for that save operation.
Internet Access
The App uses internet access primarily to load advertisements through Google Mobile Ads and to determine whether the device currently has an internet connection for the App’s connectivity-related features.
Benhar Habits does not operate its own server for transmitting or storing your personal habit, journal, challenge, profile, or photo information.
Other Permissions
Benhar Habits does not request access to:
- Camera
- Microphone
- Contacts
- Calendar data from your device
- Precise location
- GPS location
- Bluetooth
- Apple HealthKit
- Android Health Connect
- Other health or motion/activity data
If a future version of the App requires an additional permission, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe the new use before or when that change is introduced.
18. How We Use Information
Information you enter into Benhar Habits is used to operate and personalize the App’s features on your device.
Examples include:
- Displaying your habits and challenges
- Tracking completion
- Showing challenge progress
- Calculating streaks
- Showing your habit and challenge activity in the App’s calendar views
- Personalizing your profile
- Managing reminders
- Storing your Journey entries
- Managing Make Today Count information
- Recording What Would You Do? completion information
- Displaying Habit Quiz results during a quiz session
- Creating achievement and progress images
- Generating Journey PDF exports
Your locally stored personal information is not transmitted to a Benhar Habits server because Benhar Habits does not currently operate a backend service for storing this information.
19. How Information Is Shared
Benhar Habits does not sell or rent your personal information.
Your locally stored habit, challenge, journal, profile, and photo information is not automatically shared with Benhar Habits or third parties.
Information may leave your device when you actively choose to use a sharing feature, such as:
- Sharing an achievement image
- Sharing a Journey PDF
- Sharing another supported piece of App content
Google Mobile Ads independently processes certain technical information for advertising purposes as described in Sections 13 and 14.
When you share information with another application or service, that application or service’s own privacy policy governs its handling of the shared information.
20. Data Retention
Because your personal App information is stored locally on your device, it generally remains there until you:
- Delete the information within the App
- Delete the relevant photo or entry
- Clear the App’s data where supported by your device
- Uninstall or remove the App from your device
Benhar Habits does not maintain a separate server-side copy of your personal habit, challenge, journal, profile, or photo information.
Device backups or operating-system features may affect how local App information is retained, restored, or copied. Such backups are controlled by your device, operating system, or backup provider rather than by Benhar Habits.
Information processed independently by third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads is subject to those services’ own retention practices and privacy policies.
21. Data Security
Information stored locally by Benhar Habits is protected by the security features provided by your device and operating system, including the normal application sandbox and other platform security controls.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Because Benhar Habits does not maintain a server-side copy of your personal App content, we do not operate a server database containing your personal habits, journal entries, challenge information, or photos.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including using a device passcode, biometric protection, or other security features provided by your operating system.
22. Your Choices and Control
You are in control of the information you enter into Benhar Habits.
Depending on the feature, you can:
- Create, edit, or delete My Daily Challenges
- Create, manage, and delete Challenges
- Manage Challenge reminders
- Add, replace, or delete supported photos
- Create, edit, or delete My Personal Journey entries
- Create and manage Make Today Count information
- Manage What Would You Do? content and supported photos
- Update your display name, age, gender, height, and weight
- Enable or disable individual reminders
- Enable or disable notification permission through your device settings
- Delete locally stored App information
- Delete Journey PDF exports you have generated
- Choose whether to share achievement images, Journey PDFs, or other supported content
Deleting information within the App removes the applicable local information from your device.
Because Benhar Habits does not maintain a server-side copy of this personal information, there is generally no separate copy for us to delete.
23. Accounts and Data Deletion
Benhar Habits does not currently require or offer user account registration.
Because there is no Benhar Habits online account system, there is no online account containing your personal App information that you need to request deletion of.
Your locally stored information can generally be removed by deleting it within the App, clearing the App’s data through your device settings where supported, or uninstalling the App.
Device backups may retain copies of App data depending on your device and backup settings. Those backups are controlled by your device or backup provider.
24. Children’s Privacy
Benhar Habits is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The App does not require user accounts or registration and does not knowingly operate a system designed to collect personal information from children under 13 through an online account.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App in a way that requires action under applicable law, please contact us using the contact information below.
25. Third-Party Links
Advertisements or other content displayed within Benhar Habits may link to third-party websites or applications.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites, applications, or services.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing them with personal information.
26. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s features, services, or data practices.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
If a future version of Benhar Habits adds an account system, server-side storage, analytics, additional advertising technology, new permissions, tracking functionality, or another feature that materially changes how information is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated to accurately describe that change.
